The crowd was insane- people were jumping up onstage during their songs and nearly broke the drums. They had these 'space blankets' that they threw into the crowd and Brooks was all: "Do you know how many pop-tarts we had to eat to make those things?!"

fleasinabox asked: saw the Growlers at FYF Fest last September. Didn't know who in the hell they were, but my bf likes them so I says wth, why not? i fell in love. The song that closed the deal for me was "Old Cold River". I can still remember Nielson's funky dance and outrageous vocals.
